The WhatsApp Business app is being updated to add additional search filters, but it is unclear when they will be added to the regular app.
WhatsApp is one of the most popular messaging services in the world, with more than a billion people using it regularly. The platform is growing rapidly as new features are constantly tested and rolled out. This time, WhatsApp is rolling out new search filters in the WhatsApp Business app.
WhatsApp Business is another messaging app developed by WhatsApp for companies and other organizations to communicate with (potential) customers. It has some extra features compared to the standard WhatsApp app, such as business profiles, remote and greeting messages, and landline/landline number support.
WABetaInfo found a new feature in the WhatsApp Business app for Android and iOS - more search filters You can already narrow down search results to messages containing photos, videos, links, GIFs, audio files and/or documents, but now three more options have been added. You can now filter messages based on whether the recipient is in your contact list and whether the message has been read. As with existing filters, you can use multiple filters at the same time.
It's unclear when or if the feature will appear in the standard WhatsApp app for Android and iOS. In recent months, however, the regular application has improved in other ways. Preview voice messages before sending them, new privacy features rolled out in December, Novi payment integration began testing in November, and updated picture-in-picture mode and end-to-end encrypted backup rolled out in October. WhatsApp also released a new desktop application for Windows in November.
The regular WhatsApp app probably doesn't need the new search filter much, except for people who send and receive a lot of messages. However, it would be great to see it in a standard app.
Switch between Windows 11 and Linux
Once Linux is installed on your PC, you should have the option to start it immediately, but this may not happen. If your Windows partition is set to priority in your BIOS Settings, you may boot into Windows a lot. This behavior will vary depending on your computer, so you may not need to do anything.
