How to turn off read receipts in WhatsApp
WhatsApp allows users to turn off the Read Receipt feature so that other users can't see when you've read their messages. Here are the simple steps:
Step 1: Go to Settings
Open the WhatsApp app and go to Settings in the bottom navigation menu.
Step 2: Go to Privacy Settings
In the Settings menu, scroll down and select Privacy.
Step 3: Turn off read receipts
In the Privacy menu, find and select "Read receipts". Here you can turn off this feature.
With this, you have successfully turned off the Read Receipts feature on WhatsApp. Other users will no longer be able to see when you read their messages. Keep in mind that by turning off this feature, you will also not be able to see when other users have read your messages.
